M1 launches Mobile eMail service with OceanLake Commerce
Affordable Mobile eMail arrives in Singapore
Toronto, Canada and Singapore – May 14 2007. OceanLake Commerce Inc. (OLI-TSX Venture) confirmed today that the carrier referred to in its previous announcement on April 25, 2007 is one of Singapore’s leading mobile carriers, M1 (M1 – Singapore Stock Exchange). M1 has launched M1 Mobile eMail based on the OceanLake MobileMail platform. It is available today to M1 customers.

“We are very pleased to be working with M1 to provide the OceanLake MobileMail platform to support their launch of M1 Mobile eMail. ” commented William Car, President and CEO of OceanLake. “Working with M1 is further demonstration of progress in execution of our expansion strategy in Asia. We continue to see growing interest in our product portfolio in the region. ”

M1 Mobile eMail is built on the OceanLake MobileMail platform which polls the pre-configured email accounts and immediately sends a notification via text message to a person’s phone if there is an email waiting. The user can then choose to open the message in their phone to view it. Reply and forward can also be done from the phone itself. By using industry standard text messaging and mobile browsers available on nearly all in market mobile phones, the OceanLake solution provides a broader market reach than any other solution and simplifies the learning curve for new users who are already very familiar with these technologies.

“M1 Mobile eMail combines ease of use with push notification across multiple email accounts at a price that is very affordable for Singaporeans.” said Sharon Tan, Consumer Marketing Director of M1. “The OceanLake platform allows us to launch M1 Mobile eMail with the ability to work on the devices our customers already have and enjoy, making it even more cost effective. This is mobile email for everyone. ”

Integration and support services will be provided out of OceanLake’s Asia Pacific head quarters locally in Singapore.
