OceanLake Commerce Introduces “meemo” Mobile Email to the United States

meemo is Affordable Mobile Email for Everyone

Toronto – June 13, 2007 – OceanLake Commerce Inc. (OLI-TSX Venture) today introduced its mobile email service “meemo” to consumers in the United States who are on Alltel, AT&T (Formerly Cingular), Sprint/Nextel, Verizon Wireless, and other mobile wireless networks. Effective immediately, American consumers can subscribe to the service by visiting www.meemo.com.

meemo is affordable and readily accessible mobile email for everyone. To date, most mobile email solutions in the U.S. have required expensive smart phones and costly data plans. As a result, only a small percentage of U.S. mobile subscribers use their phone for more than making voice calls and sending text messages. Now, meemo allows any Internet-enabled mobile phone with text messaging on any U.S. wireless carrier to have mobile email service at a fraction of the cost of other solutions.

For most consumers this means they can use the phone that they already have and love. meemo works in the background 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, checking for email. When a new message arrives, meemo sends a text message to the user’s phone with a mobile web link to their meemo inbox. Consumers can read, forward and reply to messages and view attachments from their phone. meemo can also manage multiple email addresses, optimize images and documents per specific wireless device, and set date and time reminders. With meemo, now everyone can stay connected on-the-go.

"90% of the U.S. mobile market place is currently underserved. As the first cost-effective mobile email service available in North America, meemo makes mobile email a reality for everyone." said William Car, President and CEO of OceanLake. "meemo runs on our OceanLake Mobile Mail platform which has already been successfully deployed in a number of countries in Asia with strong consumer adoption. This is a proven solution now available to a much larger marketplace. We believe Americans are going to love it!"

Consumers can visit www.meemo.com to sign up for the service which is available for $6.99 USD per month plus applicable data charges that may be incurred from the use of the service. The service will be available in Canada later this summer and other parts of the world in the fall.
