OceanLake announces brand release and pre-registration for mobile e-mail service

Global Mobile Mail product to be named “meemo”
Toronto – April 11, 2007. OceanLake Commerce Inc. (OLI-TSX Venture) announced today that it has launched the brand for its mobile e-mail service that was referred to in a previous release on March 2, 2007. The service will be known as “meemo”.

meemo is an affordable, real-time, push e-mail service. For many, staying connected to friends and family while on the go is important. Until now that has been something that has required expensive specialized devices with equally pricey email plans. meemo allows users with any internet-enabled mobile phone or PDA to send and receive e-mail from their existing e-mail accounts at a fraction of the cost of other solutions in the market place. meemo polls the pre-configured email accounts and immediately sends a notification via text message to a person’s phone if there is an e-mail waiting. The user can then choose to open the message in their phone to view it. Reply and forward can also be done from the phone itself. Not only does your email go with you, so does your calendar! Important reminders are sent to your phone to make sure you never miss a thing.

With the launch of meemo in North America, OceanLake is continuing its efforts to expand the distribution of meemo under other licenses throughout the world. Additional territories will be launched as OceanLake concludes agreements with partners to license the platform and the brand. Further details will be available as any such deals are made.
