Oceanlake licenses mobile e-mail for launch across North America Company executes binding letter-of-intent for North American license of its mobile e-mail and Mobile Gateway services Toronto, Ontario CANADA, Sep 18, 2006 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX News Network) -- Oceanlake Commerce Inc. (OLI - TSX Venture), is pleased to announce that it has executed a binding letter of intent (the "LOI") with SkyNet Marketing ("SkyNet"), setting the principal commercial terms for the North American license of its WP Mail and Mobile Gateway services. OceanLake's Mobile Gateway and WPMail (mobile push mail) products are part of OceanLake's suite of services that allow users with any internet-enabled mobile phone and PDA to (i) view and interact in a meaningful way with all sites on the internet; and (ii) send and receive e-mail from their existing devices and existing e-mail accounts at a fraction of the cost of the Blackberry(r) or similar services. Under the terms of the LOI, OceanLake will receive a staged license fee of three million dollars and a royalty on the gross revenue generated by the WP Mail and Mobile Gateway. OceanLake will also provide ongoing management and support of the services for a predetermined fee. The parties expect to execute a definitive agreement by the end of September, 2006 and for SkyNet to commercially launch in the in early 2007. The launch of these services in North America will significantly build on the more than 50 million users in the South Asian Region with access to both Mobile Gateway and WP Mail.
