OCEANLAKE'S FACILITASIA SUBSIDIARY LAUNCHES NEW MOBILE CONTENT DELIVERY PLATFORM
PRODUCT
Singapore, Toronto, Ontario CANADA, May 12, 2006 /FSC/ - Oceanlake Commerce Inc.
(OLI - TSX Venture),
Facilitasia Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of OceanLake Commerce
Inc, is pleased to announce that it has launched imercion, a mobile content
delivery platform that offers content providers, content aggregators and
telecommunications operators the ability to deliver any type of electronic
content to any type of device - fixed or mobile.
When delivering any electronic content, there are normally two choices, either a
complex, loosely coupled, multi-server system with many points of possible
failure, or a single platform environment consisting of multiple components
integrated together.
imercion was developed on the premise that an enterprise should be able to run
an entire retail/wholesale operation from a single platform that is fully
integrated including components from web server to web design toolkit, from user
registration to dynamic device support, from product repository to contract
management and product delivery.
imercion provides searching, viewing, selection, purchase and download of
content via a single interface by any device - from PC's to any type of mobile
device.
imercion's user interface is simple to understand and operate and the web and
mobile based portals have exactly the same look and feel. imercion offers a
complete set of APIs allowing any enterprise to develop its own branded web and
mobile portals.
imercion links to all existing payment portals such as PayPal and merchant
credit card links as well as being able to produce and process pre-paid vouchers
from multiple sources. It can also be linked to a mobile operator's prepaid or
billing system for direct charging.
OceanLake Commerce and Facilitasia will offer the product on a transactional
license basis or as a fully managed service and Facilitasia is actively
marketing imercion in South Asia and expects to secure a launch customer in the
near term.
