OceanLake Announces New Operations In Singapore & Former MOTOROLA Executive As VP Technology
 
Toronto, Ontario CANADA, June 07, 2004 /FSC/ - Oceanlake Commerce Inc. (OLI - TSX Venture), OceanLake is pleased to announce that it has brought on board a well sought out individual as the VP of Technology. Mr. Sasi Nair has joined OceanLake's team and is located in the new R&D Center in Singapore.
 
Prior to joining OceanLake, Mr. Nair was with Motorola Inc. as a system architect focused on the next generation mobile application processors for 3G smart-phones. He has more than 10 years of intensive experience in multi-disciplinary product development and management in the varied areas of wireless, communications, multimedia and storage. He has successfully delivered solutions consisting of applications, middle-ware, device drivers, firmware and hardware, while serving in the capacities of a director, manager and technical lead in various companies including start-ups, SMEs and MNCs. He holds a Masters of Science in Communications Software Management from the University of Essex and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore.

OceanLake this month opened its flagship R&D facility that was planned as part of the role out from receiving its latest round of 2M US investment from there South East Asian partner. The facility is now the hub for client hosting and product maintenance as well as all future international product releases.

They were pivotal in the establishment of our local R&D headquarters and the establishment of OceanLake's name in the region. We are working closely with several branches of the Singapore Government to receive R&D grants and local market exposures which will help insure our time to market and local acceptance of present and future products," said Steven Moya, President & COO of OceanLake.
 
With it's new operation in place OceanLake is completing a marketing transition that will include a new web site and update corporate representation in the next few months.
