HP Uses OceanLake’s mScope for HP Canada Wireless Portal

San Jose, CA and Toronto, ON – April 10, 2003– (TSXV:OLI) OceanLake, Inc. developers of mobility-enabling solutions, is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract which allows HP the use of mScope for HP Canada’s wireless portal. The portal is designed to provide HP Canada’s customers and partners valuable information on HP’s products and solutions.

Choosing OceanLake’s mScope solution allowed HP Canada several cost saving advantages. HP is able to pull content from the existing www.hp.ca web site and instantly rewrite and reformat the content into usable content for any wireless device. With this ability, HP Canada is piloting a smaller section of the entire hp.ca site and can now learn what their wireless users and market require of HP as well as adapting to these new means of communications to customers and partners.

HP Canada plans to entice customers to try "the wireless web" and become familiar with it and at the same time, let customers understand that HP can provide information anywhere, on demand. This allows increased freedom for the customer and still stay connected to HP.

"We are extremely excited about our involvement in HP Canada's wireless portal strategy." Said Steve Koskie, CEO of OceanLake. "We are even more excited that HP chose OceanLake's solution which again demonstrates OceanLake's technological advantage over all other competitors in North America." anywhere, on demand. This allows increased freedom for the customer and still stay connected to HP.

HP Canada will use mScope for an initial period of one year for use with the HP Canada wireless portal that can be found at wireless.hp.ca on your desktop or wireless device.
